We cater family celebrations, office parties, and special occasion events, everything from a small 8” round cake to the large full sheet size for luaus or tiered cake designs for weddings and special events. We offer the very simple to the more intricate cake designs that add the special tropical flavor and sparkle of island paradise.
Kona Kakes specializes in the unique flavors of island fruits, macadamia nuts, pineapple, mango, guava, coconut, and passion fruit. Our macadamia nuts are grown on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano and shipped to us from Kona, Hawaii (The Big Island). The butter richness of the genuine Hawaiian macadamia nut is one of the traits of the true flavor of our cakes.
We hand make our cakes and make our own caramel fresh daily. All of our cream and chocolates are from quality sources, never skimping on freshness. Our coconut (haupia) and chocolate puddings are made from scratch. Each order is baked fresh and never ever frozen. One reason we might ask you upon ordering what time of day you will pick up your cake is so that we can bake it fresh either the night before or the morning of your order. Our deliciously original taste of the islands conveys the spirit of Aloha.
